Chief Justices of 8 High Courts have been recommended by SC Collegium

The Supreme Court Collegium on Thursday recommended the appointment of Chief Justices for 8 High Courts. Chief Justice MS Ramachandra Rao of Himachal Pradesh as the next Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court. Justice Nitin Jamdar of Bombay High Court as Chief Justice of Kerala High Court. Justice Tashi Rabstan as the Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court. Punjab High Court judge, Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhwalia as the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court. Justice Rajiv Shakdher of Delhi High Court as the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.

The Collegium also suggested the promotion of Justice Manmohan of  Delhi High Court as the Chief Justice and Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court to the Supreme Court and Justice Suresh Kumar Kait as the next Chief Justice of the High Court.

On Friday, the Collegium recommends Justice KR Shriram of Bombay High Court as Chief Justice of Madras High Court.
